The most significant part of this drawing is the portrayal of time.
At the line denoting PRESENT we see the future as one unit of measurement. The future is the point at which the past contracts to the present.
The past contracts by halves until it reaches the present, then in retrograde motion proceeds unit by unit until it reaches THE EXPANDED FUTURE.
